Everyone needs sleep, it is possibly the most critical part of any program for composition change, hormonal health, immune function and generally feeling great. We all know what it feels like to miss sleep, and to wake up from a big long catch up! Sleep hygiene principles are great for improving routines of sleep in general, but they are incomplete as they don't account for our differences. One individual needs more food at night, another one needs less, one individual needs connection before bed, another is hyper-sensitive to light. This session will make you a black belt in sleep, why we need it, the common problems that arise with it and how that can be solved when you understand what the individual client needs!
Session Type: Group Exercise
This is the session that anyone working with weight loss or muscle gain needs to attend. Body composition is one of the top goals of clients. What they don't often realise is that the major elements standing in their way of a great result are how their hormones interact with the energy they are burning and consuming. They also don't realise that we all have different levels of hormones and this dramatically influences your ability to change your body, it's shape and overall wellbeing. This session will help you see how fitness, food and sleep have a dramatically different influence on body composition change. Calories are important, but this session will allow you to understand them in a new and essentially different way. Plus, it will go beyond body composition, into how people can understand and make the most of the body that they have, rather than feel like they are in a constant fight with it.
