Body composition, Hormones and HealthTypes

Session Type:
This is the session that anyone working with weight loss or muscle gain needs to attend. Body composition is one of the top goals of clients. What they don’t often realise is that the major elements standing in their way of a great result are how their hormones interact with the energy they are burning and consuming. They also don’t realise that we all have different levels of hormones and this dramatically influences your ability to change your body, it’s shape and overall wellbeing. This session will help you see how fitness, food and sleep have a dramatically different influence on body composition change. Calories are important, but this session will allow you to understand them in a new and essentially different way. Plus, it will go beyond body composition, into how people can understand and make the most of the body that they have, rather than feel like they are in a constant fight with it.

• What are the key elements of weight loss
• How do hormone and circadian rhythms influence metabolism
• Know the strategies for supporting different individuals with different goals related to body comp change
• Understand how precision health practices can be used to create a better result for individuals with weight loss and lean mass change
• Understand the impact of hormones on personality and how it drives a different identity in an individual around their weight goals.
