My passion is to inspire and empower others by providing tools to support their wellness journey—while continuously learning and discovering new ways to help people achieve better health.
My tai chi and qigong journey began in 1999 as a way to improve my own health. That personal experience ignited my desire to learn, share, and support others on their paths to well-being.
As an international Master Trainer with the Tai Chi for Health Institute (TCHI), I am authorised to train and certify instructors in the following programs:
– Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention (including Seated TCA)
– Tai Chi for Rehabilitation
– Tai Chi for Diabetes
– Tai Chi for Heart Conditions
– Tai Chi for Memory
– Qigong for Health
– Tai Chi for Life
– Tai Chi for Energy
– Tai Chi for Kidz
Tai Chi for Health programs are unique because they are scientifically proven to enhance health and well-being and are endorsed by the CDC.
I currently teach 13 community tai chi classes in the Franklin District, south of Auckland, and serve on the Executive Committee for Franklin Health Group Inc. Since 2018, I have also been an Exercise NZ Conference presenter, sharing my expertise with the wider fitness, health and wellness community. I’m passionate about making tai chi accessible to everyone and helping people experience its powerful benefits for mind and body!
