Both exercise and learning have substantial energy requirements, and your brain needs to ‘budget’ for this. It sits in the darkness of your cranium, so it has to use its messengers to know what’s happening out there in your body. Whether you get to exercise well, or badly, is dependent on these messengers returning with good news.
