Dr Tracey Clissold has 30 years’ academic experience teaching in the areas of exercise science, sports nutrition and health and wellbeing.
She is currently a lecturer at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, and nutrition consultant for national and international athletes and coaches. Her research passion is osteoporosis prevention, and she has recently developed a phone application to disseminate her important research findings to improve bone health in premenopausal women.
She is a Doctoral and Masters supervisor for The University of Waikato, with students currently researching in aspects of women’s health across the lifecycle.
Tracey is the mother of two children and has previously represented New Zealand in distance running, winning several national and international marathon titles, including winning the Auckland Marathon four times
